Cooperative learning in maths

Miss Goulet's maths lesson worked on their skills with co-ordinates in order to create a battle ship inspired board game. Using their knowledge of longships, they designed boats in the shape of what the Vikings used to sail to England.

Once we have made our ge, we asked students in Miss Hemings to play with us. This way both classes practiced using co-ordinates. It was a nice way to work collaboratively.

They could also enjoy our nice drawings on our boards. They were inspired by Vikings artefacts and had to be symmetrical since it is a requirement in maths.
