Making an information text box

Today, we learnt how to use the snipping tool and google maps to create a 'where in the world' text box to give some more information on our magical creature.

We had to find the snipping tool and take a picture of the country we chose. Next, we had to make our own word document and pasted the image onto it.

We had to find an image on the internet of tattered paper, and then we had to put the image to the back. The text box was last. It was tricky at first, but we got though it. The trickiest part, for me was trying to send the tattered paper to the back of the map.

We have learnt as well that sometimes you cannot copy a picture because it has been blocked. You could only have access to it by paying for the rights.

Our book is coming along quite well, stay tuned for the final product.
