QR codes

As part of our Computing lesson, we have learned to make QR codes.

In topic we are learning about Canada and because our teacher is Canadian she has many stories and pictures for us.

Miss Goulet printed pictures about Canada. I cannot believe she took all of them, she has traveled across Canada. This country is massive!

At the ICT suite, we used reliable websites to find information about the picture we were given. We had to write 5 fun facts. We then went on www.qr-code-generator.com to create a qr code. We will stick the qr code next to the picture so everyone in the class knows about Canada.

The hardest part is when the qr is created you en have to save it as an image so it can be printed. Miss Goulet had asked that the qr code is small, so I had to inset the image on a word document to then rsize it.

I was so excited to learn all this that once I got home, I created a qr code for our blog! Here it is. Scan to try it!
